These recordings are captured on a zoom recorder set up in the back of a church during an improvised live performance at the Seacroft Estate on Gadubanud Country which is south west of Naarm/Melbourne.
I'm performing both drum kit and samples simultaneously.
The sample stimulus is from each guest performer's recorded portfolio respectively.
After establishing a groove using their samples I invited the performers to improvise over the piece.
These materials were manifest and the cultural threads were woven during the Australian Art Orchestra's "Creative Music Intensive" in 2023.
Thankyou to the faculty members present for allowing us a platform to perform and collaborate.
